A Yellow (Gold)-billed Blue Magpie with Wild Fruit in his Beak

Here is picture of one of my favorite birds from Himachal Pradesh i.e.  Yellow (Gold)-billed Magpie. In general, we find these birds in groups and they create lots of noise. It is not easy to capture pictures of this bird because of its shy nature. It took me months to get some good pictures of Gold-billed Magpie. It is a medium sized beautiful bird with a combination of Blue, yellow, white and black colors. Yellow-billed Magpie is a long tail Himalayan bird. These birds are local residents of Himalayas and north-east India. The size of this bird is around 19 cm. The highlight of white capped redstart is white patch or cap on the head which gives its name of white capped. To learn more about White-capped Redstart and check more pics Click Here
