  We all love parrots and we can even find parrots as pets in many homes. Rose-ringed parakeet (parrot) is one of the common varieties of parrot found in India. Here is a close-up picture of a rose-ringed parrot. They got their name because of the red-colored ring present on their neck.   Here is close up of a Rose-ringed Parakeet family. In this picture, you can see the parent parrots and their juvenile. The Juvenile rose-ringed parakeets don't have red ring around their neck and they develop it later. These parakeets are very common in India and we can find them in many parts of India. Here  is a picture of a beautiful Himalayan parrot which have a slaty colored head; therefore, they are called Slaty-headed parakeet . These parrots are very noisy in nature and mostly move in groups. We find find these parrots in the Himalayan region; therefore, we call them Himalayan parrots .
