11th century ancient Vishnu Temple made of stone and with special roof

  In Himachal, we can find many styles of temple making. (Visit Beautiful and ancient temples of Himachal )The oldest temples are made of stone and due to this reason, they are able to survive so long. Above you can see a temple of Lord Vishnu made of stone. Inside the temple, we can see a standing idol of Lord Vishnu. This temple is situated near the famous Naggar Castle at Naggar Town (Kullu, Himachal). It is an 11th-century temple and it is quite different from the other temples in the area. This castle is believed to be constructed in early 17th century by Raja Sidh Singh. Shooting of many popular Hindi Movies and TV serials had took place at this castle like Jab we Met.
