You are aware of the picture of Black Cat and how much I love cats and my association with them is from my childhood. After the death of my dog last year, I got a chance to interact with a few cats and the cat you are seeing in the picture above is one of them. He was quite young when he started coming close to me. He is a male cat and full attitude. He never asks for food just sits beside his bowl. If you get late in giving him food then he leaves and he didn't come back on asking. Overall he is black and white colored but on his face, we can find the brown colour too. 

  We can find many varieties of myna in India and one of them is Pied Myna. This myna can also be seen like myna birds. Though, it is not as visible as common myna . Pied myna is the sweetest among all mynas. Even some people love to have them as pets because of their ability to imitate the sound of other birds.   Here is a pic from the inside of Jodha Bai Palace situated at Fatehpur Sikri. At this place, we can see a glimpse of the glorious past of India and how old architecture was in the Mughal era. This palace is visited by millions of people every year. At this palace, we can see a mix of Indian and Mughal architecture. Only by visiting this place, we can see its beauty and grandness. 

  We all love parrots and we can even find parrots as pets in many homes. Rose-ringed parakeet (parrot) is one of the common varieties of parrot found in India. Here is a close-up picture of a rose-ringed parrot. They got their name because of the red-colored ring present on their neck.   Recently, I shared a picture of a wet rose with you and now, I am going to share pictures of a few red roses grown together. The rain has left water drops on these red roses and they all look very beautiful. I always find many red roses around me; therefore, I have a lot of pictures of the red roses in my collection. 

  In the rainy season, we can watch many flowers bloom around us. Flowers are always loved by everyone, therefore, we see people growing many types of flowers in their gardens. Above you can see the pictures of Lotus Blue coloured flowers growing in a garden. 

  Here is a picture of a bee hive created by wild bees at my village home in Baijnath, Himachal. In my village, once it was common to rare bees for their honey and we have inbuilt bee hives in our old wooden houses. However, now people are discontinuing this process because wooden houses are discontinued now. 

 Here is a picture of a small girl carrying a small portion of grass on her head. She was imitating her mother who was cutting the grass. It looked like she was also readying herself for the future with this gesture. For small children in India, childhood is still not as good as for others.

  I have added many pictures of the Parashar Lake situated in the Mandi district of Himachal in past. I got a chance to visit this Lake again last month and I saw some changes in the temple premises. There is a new construction around the temple which was not there eight years back. I got a chance to visit the Parashar Rishi temple in the rain and rain added more to its beauty. 

  Recently, during my visit to Mandi town, I got a chance to visit Panchvaktra (PanchBakhtar) temple. It is one of the ancient temples made from stones by Shikra-style architects. This temple is situated on the confluence of the rivers Beas and the local river Suketi. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva like Bhoothnath Temple in Mandi. Mandi is also known as Choti Kashi because of 80 plus temples in the city.  Other Shiv Temple pictures taken by me are Shiv Bari Bachhretu , Shiv Temple Baijnath and Old Shiva Temple Rewalsar

  Himachali women carrying load on back Here is a picture of hardworking Himachali women carrying load on their back. They travel kilometers in the search of wood. This picture shows the hard work of Himachali women. 

  Here is a picture of a butterfly sitting on tiny blue flowers. In the past too, I have taken pictures of butterflies  and all these pictures offer a great look.
